Mangala Srinivas (AMICE Wageningen) has been appointed as a Chief Scientific Advisor to the European Commission. In this role, she will join a group of leading experts providing the Commission with independent, evidence-based policy advice on today’s most urgent challenges — ranging from sustainability and public health to digital transformation and global resilience.
The advisors draw on interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research to ensure that science translates into real-world impact where it matters most.
