Applied Molecular Imaging ErasmusMC (AMIE)

The AMIE Core Facility is a center of expertise in preclinical multimodal imaging, supporting both fundamental and translational biomedical research. AMIE provides access to a comprehensive range of imaging techniques, including nuclear imaging, MRI, CT, optical imaging, ultrasound imaging and photoacoustic imaging. All the devices are only meters apart, enabling seamless integration and efficient workflows. In addition, AMIE offers expert guidance on experimental design, image acquisition, probe development, and advanced data analysis across various application areas and disease models.  We are always interested in exploring new applications and continuously advancing our imaging technologies to meet the evolving needs of the research community. Researchers can be trained to independently operate the equipment, or AMIE can provide full-service support, including  study execution, data analysis, and delivery of final results. By combining technical expertise with state-of-the-art imaging infrastructure, AMIE enables high-quality, reproducible imaging studies that drive scientific discoveries and clinical translation.
