The Preclinical Imaging Centre is a centralized facility for multimodality imaging of small animals, primarily mice and rats, and human ex vivo tissue samples. All imaging modalities, MRI, SPECT, PET, optical imaging, multiphoton microscopy, intrinsic optical imaging and ultrasound, are housed under one roof in one facility. The aim of PRIME is to provide researchers of the Radboudumc, RU and collaborators of other institutes, open access to preclinical imaging equipment and expertise. PRIME supports researchers when measuring at PRIME, with scientific interaction, shared equipment, administrative and legal advice, and technical support. In addition, PRIME is also equipped with cognition and behavior rooms to measure (social) behavior learning and memory sensory-motor integration activity and motor skills.
